Potential Brown Water Disruption – December 21, 2022
Public Works is performing some water service troubleshooting at a residence on Spruce St. We have to do some minor flushing as well as close several water distribution valves in order to control the flow direction. This may cause a brown water disruption for residences North of Second Ave. and East of Mead Blvd.
If you experience brown water during this time, running a cold water tap continuously should resolve the issue. If the water doesn’t clear within an hour, please call the Public Works office at (705)869-1751 or (705)222-7932 after-hours. We recommend refraining from using hot water or doing laundry during the disruption. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
