Borrow an Ontario Parks Pass through the Espanola Public Library this summer FOR FREE!

Parks passes may be borrowed by library card holders with a valid adult/senior library membership in good standing. These passes include free day-use access to all Ontario Provincial Parks and offer admission for one vehicle and its occupants.

Passes CANNOT be reserved / placed on hold – passes are available on a first come first served basis. For availability or questions, please phone the library at (705) 869-2940 OR visit the library front desk.

Overdue Fines and Replacement Cost

Fine for late return: $20.00 per day

Replacement cost for lost or damaged pass: $225.00


Parks passes are limited and availability is dependent on the return of the passes from previous patrons. The EPL cannot guarantee that a pass will be returned and available on the set return date - We apologize for the inconvenience.

Park capacity limitations as well as Covid-19 restrictions may apply) as well as their Operating Dates page to view which parks will be open for your visit*

TD Summer Reading Club 2021!

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s largest bilingual reading club, and is completely free to join! This year’s theme is GAME ON! This summer will be a combination of online and outdoor activities, packed full of contests, prizes, and take-home activities for the whole family to enjoy. You really don’t want to miss out!

Date: July 5 - August 13

Age: 5 yrs. and up

Fee: FREE 

Registration: Registration must be completed in person. Visit the Espanola Public Library on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday between the hours of 10:00 am – 4:00 pm to register. All children must be registered by a legal guardian and registration forms will require a health card #. Registration is now open and all registrants will be entered into a draw to win a book!


Le Club de lecture d'été TD est le plus grand club de lecture bilingue du Canada, et son inscription est entièrement gratuite ! Le thème de cette année est GAME ON ! et propose un mélange d'activités en ligne et en plein air, avec de nombreux concours, des prix et des activités à emporter à la maison pour toute la famille. Vous ne voulez vraiment pas manquer ça !

Date : Du 5 juillet au 13 août

Âge : 5 ans et plus

Frais : GRATUIT 

Inscription : L'inscription doit être effectuée en personne. Rendez-vous à la bibliothèque publique d'Espanola le lundi, mardi, jeudi ou vendredi entre 10h 00 et 16h 00 pour vous inscrire. Tous les enfants doivent être inscrits par un tuteur légal et les formulaires d'inscription devront comporter un numéro de carte de santé. L'inscription est maintenant ouverte et tous les inscrits seront inscrits à un tirage au sort pour gagner un livre !
