Services available:
The Espanola Fire Department is responsible for maintaining the optimum level of fire protection for all shareholders, including the residents of the Town of Espanola, Town Council, and the Province through the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office. This is done through one station with a full time Chief, part-time secretary, and twenty-eight dedicated volunteers.

Espanola Public Library

The library serves the informational, educational and entertainment needs of the community, with a wide selection of books, newspapers, magazines, music CDs, DVDs, and local history. We also offer many services including children’s programming, public access computers, a colour copier, faxing, scanning, a meeting room, home-bound service, and inter-library loans.

Provincial Offences

Services available:
The Town of Espanola provides Prosecution and Courtroom Reporter services for Part 1 tickets and all Provincial Offences Courts held in the Town of Espanola Court Service area and the Elliot Lake Court Service Area. Arrangements for Option 2 (Guilty with explanation) and Option 3 (Trial Date Request) are made through the office.

Benches, waste bins, gates, handrails and other surfaces are not sanitized.
When using any outdoor facility, users must maintain a distance of two metres from people who are not part of their household. A mask or face covering is recommended when physical distancing is a challenge.
