2021 Program Descriptions
Social Bubble Swim Slots
Book Your Pool Slot! Float, bob, swim laps and play in your slot. A safe alternative to our regular programming. Lap, wade and spin bike pool slots available. Bring your pool toys! Max 5 people per slot
Socially-Distanced Aquafit
A challenging deep-water workout with little to no impact on the joints. Begin each class with a 5 minute warm-up, followed by 35 minutes of intense cardio and 5 minutes of stretching. Relax in the swirl pool or push yourself further with laps for 10 minutes. Pool is sectioned off to ensure participants remain 6 feet apart during class. Call ahead to book your spot.

Socially-Distanced Diaper Fit
Attention new parents! An ongoing class and fitness splash for parents or caregivers with babies from 6 months to 2 years old. Babies float and play in a safety approved baby seat while caregivers exercise. A social time for babies and a workout time for caregivers. Pool is sectioned off to ensure participants remain 6 feet apart. Call ahead to book your spot.
Social Bubble Lessons
In an effort to continue to safely provide swimming lessons we will be offering Social Bubble Lessons for the foreseeable future.
Create your own groups:
- Children must be in the same social bubbles and have similar swimming abilities.
- Choose the timeslot that works for you.
- Minimum enrollment of 2 children to a maximum of 5 per bubble/$65.75 per child for half hour lessons lasting 9 weeks.
Instructors teach from the deck in order to comply with social distancing guidelines.
Level 2 and under: Parents will be required to accompany and support children IN the water.
Accessibility
Both the main pool and wade pool are accessible. An Aquatic Wheelchair and Walker is available.
POOL FOULINGS result in multiple program cancellations.
- If your child is feeling ill, skip the pool
- Avoid meals before swimming
- Toddlers who are not yet toilet trained must wear little swimmers
Swimming Lessons
Whether you're a parent wishing to enroll your child in swimming lessons, a teen wishing to become an instructor or lifeguard, or an adult looking to improve your own swimming skills, the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex has the program for you. We offer quality programs through the Red Cross and The Lifesaving Society to meet all of your needs.
