Please be advised that the Town of Espanola has operationalized traffic surveillance cameras at the entrance and exit points to Town just south of the Spanish River Bridge before the intersection of Centre Street and Tudhope Street and near the Clear Lake Beach Area on Highway 6. The purpose of these cameras is to provide additional support to law enforcement investigations. The cameras capture video footage of vehicles as they come and go from Town. This project was funded through the Community Safety and Policing Grant administered by the Ministry of the Solicitor General. Appropriate signs are posted along the roadway identifying the areas under surveillance in accordance with the Town's Video Surveillance Policy, Policy #R05-01632.
