The library serves the informational, educational and entertainment needs of the community, with a wide selection of books, newspapers, magazines, music CDs, DVDs, and local history. We also offer many services including children’s programming, public access computers, a colour copier, faxing, scanning, a meeting room, home-bound service, and inter-library loans. The library is supported by a group called Friends of the Espanola Public Library.

After celebrating 100 years of a library in Espanola, 2018 presents the library with new opportunities in providing public service to the community.

As we celebrate 50 years as ESPANOLA PUBLIC LIBRARY, and after extensive public consultation – the Library Board has approved "Strategic Plan 2018 – 2022 : The Possibilities are Infinite".

Location

From Centre Street (Hwy 6), turn west on Park Street, and left on Spruce Street. There is a large parking lot for both the library and the Recreation Complex.
