FUNdraiser for Pompe Disease Research

Who: Anyone, all ages. 

What: SKATE-A-Thon. Skate as an individual or part of a team. 
Outdoor bbq & hot beverages, fire pits, raffle, family games, childrens craft table.

Where: Espanola Track & Field "Oval"-weather permitting.  Espanola Recreation Centre- Arena will be used as a back up. 

*Please note skaters do not need to participate this whole time.  The time was chosen based on the average length of time for children's infusion with Pompe Disease. 

Why: Raise awareness of Pompe Disease, and funds for Duke University's Clinical and Research Pompe Fund (Leading experts in Pompe Disease). All money raised (including registration fee) goes directly to this fund. (Official letter from Duke University will be provided to all donators by email after the event).

❤️Local Espanola baby Iris McKechnie diagnosed with Infantile Onset Pompe Disease at 3 months old- let's fundraise to help the researchers work towards a CURE.
