Notice to Apsey Lake Residents

A blue-green algae bloom has been detected in Apsey Lake. For detailed information, please see the following link: https://www.phsd.ca/blue-green-algal-bloom-reported-in-lake-apsey/.  The Town of Espanola Water Treatment Plant, operated by the Ontario Clean Water Agency, has an effective barrier to all algae. The Town's treated drinking water is protected and safe at this time. Residents of Apsey Lake may utilize the treated drinking water tap located at the Water Treatment plant to fill containers for personal use as needed.
