Membership

The Espanola Public Library provides free library memberships to town residents and residents of contracting municipalities. This includes those who live or own property in Espanola, Baldwin Township (McKerrow), Nairn & Hyman Township (Nairn Centre) or Rainbow Local County Services Board (Whitefish Falls). Students of local high schools, and teachers of local school boards, will be considered residents through that school year period. Please see the chart below for details.

Non-Resident Membership

The library charges individuals a non-resident fee, in lieu of property taxes which are paid by residents. Residents living in areas which do not have a contract with the library are subject to the following fees:

  • 6 Month Membership: $50.00
  • 12 Month Membership: $70.00
